Love Linen
We talk a lot about linen and its wonderful qualities. But if you're still undecided whether to make the switch, here are a few things that may sway your decision.
Although newly made linen bedding can be a little stiff and hard due to it’s natural qualities, we always stone-wash all our products to make them as soft and comfortable and possible, even from the first use.
WARM IN WINTER, COOL IN SUMMER
Linen adapts to the season, meaning that it’s a year-round solution for better sleep.
Are you a sweaty sleeper? Linen sheets are extremely breathable and lightweight. The air pass through easily allowing moisture to dry out quickly – which means you’ll stay cool and dry even during the warmest summer months. When it’s chilly out, you’ll stay nice and warm due to linen's high thermo insulation.
GOOD FOR SENSITIVE SKIN
One of our favourite things about linen is its naturally occurring texture that has wonderful exfoliating qualities that your skin can benefit from.
Linen fabric is naturally antiseptic, meaning that your sheets will stay free from bacteria and fungus. It's also recommended for people with skin conditions such as eczema or acne, as it reduces inflammation.
If you suffer from any skin sensitivities, allergies or asthma, linen bedding can offer a great relief due to its known anti-allergic and anti-static qualities. Over time, after switching to linen sheets, you may notice a smoother skin texture and less irritation, but don't take our word for it - try for yourself!
GETS BETTER WITH AGE
One of the most praised qualities of linen bedding is undoubtably its durability. All our products are made using highest quality, strong 200gsm linen fabric, made to last for decades.
And the best news is that it gets even better with age - the more you wash your linen bedding, the softer it becomes. It also makes the cost-per-wear surprisingly low proving that linen sheets is the best investment for your well-being and your home.

NATURALLY SUSTAINABLE
Linen can be easily called one of the most naturally sustainable materials. It's made out of flax flower and requires very little to no chemicals to encourage its growth. Flax is also praised for needing hardly any water or irrigation, especially compared to cotton. It's a gentle plant that is easy to incorporate into crop rotation cycles. Flax is also considered to be very eco-friendly as it prevents soil depletion.
What's even better is that there is hardly any waste in linen production. All parts of flax are used - best fibres are selected for textile and the seeds are pressed to make linseed oil. It's biodegrable, renewable and overall amazing.
AN EVERYDAY LUXURY
Even though linen has lots of great qualities, it is still rare and costly to make compared to cotton. It is considered a close-to luxury fabric due to it's difficult weaving process and required expertise in production. However, small quantities in which it's sold ensures its authenticity and meets the highest industry standards.
EASY TO CARE FOR
We recommend washing your linens at 40°C and air drying. To soften the fabric even more, iron at medium heat. Finish off with a misting of linen spray for an ultimately luxurious feel.
